Krillin on the cover, awesome
I’ve been out of the loop in DBZ related news for the past few months tending to other things, so I had no idea that Funimation had aquired the rights to the original Dragon Ball, let alone that they had already released a set.
I now proudly own Dragon Ball Season 1 and Season 2 is slated to release in November.
Casual fans are familiar with the classic Dragon Ball Z story beginning with the coming of Raditz, and ending after the battle with Majin Buu. Most however, may not be all so familiar with the series that started it all, Dragon Ball. In this series, Goku is a boy with enormous, inhuman power and potential. Young Goku meets Bulma who convinces him to search for Dragon Balls, which when all 7 are gathered, a Dragon appears and grants the collector 1 wish. In their quest to find all 7 Dragon Balls, Goku and Bulma meet a variety of foes and allies, and foes who would later become allies.
Don’t sleep on Dragon Ball Season 1, it may not be as action packed as the later sagas, but rest assured, it is just as good… Dragon Ball: Season 2 will be released November 10.
Stay Tuned
Sincerely, DBZ Freak
